1. Becoming an Abeng365 Contributor

Step 1 — Submit an Application

Prospective contributors begin by submitting a contributor application.

Applications generally include:

Applications are reviewed by the Abeng365 editorial team.


2. Contributor Approval Process

Once your application is reviewed, Abeng365 may:

4. Completing Your Contributor Profile

Your contributor profile represents your public identity within the Abeng365 network.

Contributors should complete:

  • profile image/headshot;

  • links/social profiles where appropriate;
  • optional public website.

Your profile image may appear:

  • beneath published articles;
  • on Featured Voices sections;
  • on contributor archive pages;
  • within contributor directories.

Contributor Profile Image Specifications

Recommended specifications:

  • square image preferred;
  • recommended size: 400px × 400px or larger;
  • minimum size: 300px × 300px;
  • maximum recommended upload size: 2 MB;
  • accepted file types: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP.

Images should:

  • clearly show the contributor;
  • use good lighting;
  • avoid heavy filters;
  • avoid copyrighted material;
  • maintain professional presentation standards.

Professional-quality profile images are strongly encouraged.


5. Contributor Terms and Contractor Agreement

Contributors participating in assignments, compensation programs, or revenue-sharing must accept the:

Terms acceptance records:

  • acceptance timestamp;
  • agreement version;

Contributors who do not accept the agreement cannot become payout eligible.


6. Finance Setup

Contributors seeking compensation must complete a Contributor Finance Profile.

Finance setup may include:

  • PayPal details;
  • Stripe account information;
  • payout preferences;
  • legal name;
  • country;
  • preferred currency;
  • payout threshold.

Payment Account Requirements

Contributors should provide:

  • a valid PayPal email address; or
  • a valid Stripe-associated email address/account.

The payment email provided should:

  • be active;
  • belong to the contributor;
  • be capable of receiving payments;
  • remain updated within the contributor profile.

Abeng365 is not responsible for failed payouts resulting from incorrect payout information.

Finance profiles are reviewed by Abeng365 administrators before payout eligibility is unlocked.


7. Contributor Eligibility

A contributor becomes fully eligible after:

  • profile completion;
  • finance setup;
  • terms acceptance;
  • finance verification.

Eligible contributors may:

  • receive assignments;
  • participate in revenue pools;
  • receive payout allocations;
  • participate in collaborative projects.

8. Creator Dashboard

The Creator Dashboard is the contributor command center.

Depending on contributor role and permissions, the dashboard may include:

  • assignment queue;
  • workflow items;
  • contributor inbox;
  • publication tracking;
  • audio submissions;
  • finance status;
  • earnings information;
  • payout tracking.

The dashboard is designed to minimize the need for direct WordPress admin access.


9. Contributor Assignments

  • serialized programming;

Audio contributors may submit:

  • MP3 files;

  • artwork where applicable.

Audio File Specifications

Recommended audio standards:

  • preferred format: MP3;
  • alternative formats: M4A, WAV;
  • recommended bitrate: 128 kbps or higher;
  • maximum upload size: 100 MB;
  • recommended maximum duration: 60 minutes unless otherwise approved.

Audio should:

Podcast Artwork Specifications

Recurring podcasts may later participate in sponsorship programs.


13. Sponsorships and Editorial Independence

Sponsors support public-interest media and community access.

Sponsors do not:

  • control editorial conclusions;
  • select stories;
